We have an immediate requirement for an Industrial Sales Manager to join our Agriculture team in Port Moresby.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and/or related field
Proven experience as Retail Manager or in other Managerial position (Sales & Customer Service), Agriculture and or Industrial knowledge an advantage
Knowledge of retail management best practices and the ability to teach others
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizing & leadership skills
Commercial awareness
Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
Outstanding Communication Skills. Has the ability to communicate effectively with all Team Members within the Brian Bell Group including senior management
Understands business accounting, sales management and financial transactions
Working knowledge of Pronto would be an advantage
Strong leadership skills to drive performance through empowering employees and teaching new skills
Potential must be flexible to work Saturdays, and on public holidays when required. This role requires a Police Clearance certificate as a minimum requirement.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently drive Sales results through regular Sales meeting and activities
- Supervise and guide team members towards maximum performance
- Visit customers to correctly identify and demonstrate products in-house and on-site.
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Organize daily store operations and allocate responsibilities to team members related to workload
- Prepare and control the display stock to ensure we have the right stock available when customers need it
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within our stock requirements
- Deal with any customer issues promptly to ensure the customer support is visible and we protect our business reputation
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Working closely with the Branch Manager and Account Manager to look for opportunities to increase our customer base and grow the business.
