Job Summary
A vacancy for the position of Multimedia & Marketing Officer is available at The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters in Port Moresby, NCD. We invite interested applicants with appropriate qualifications and experience to apply.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Multimedia Arts, Communications or related field.
• Proven current experience in multimedia content creation of digital marketing.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools eg, Adobee Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Must be task-oriented person, who is detail-oriented (accuracy), pursues thoroughness and completes tasks in a timely and cost-effective way.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and project management skills
• Knowledge of social media algorithms and trends.
• Knowledge of photography and design principles.
• Initiative and ability to meet deadlines.
• A good team player.
• Very good interpersonal skills.
• Capacity of adopting to new technology and software.
• Must have the ability to be on time for work.
Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities


Content Creation:


Develop and produce multimedia content for video, graphics animations and photography, podcasts, etc. for social media, website, email campaign and awareness and advertisements.


Edit videos and images using industry standard software such Adobe Creative Suite for Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, After Effects.


 


Marketing Strategy Support:


Collaborate with the Public Relations & Communications team to create executive digital campaign aligned with church mission and humanitarian objectives.


Design multimedia assets that enhance storytelling and brand identity.


 


Social Media Management:


Plan and schedule engaging multimedia content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, YouTube and Tik Tok and etc.


Analyze performance metrics and optimize content accordingly.


Brand Consistency:


Ensure all multimedia outputs align with The Salvation Army’s global standard, and branding guidelines.


 


Collaboration:


Work closely with the Public Relations & Communications Team, to bring campaigns to life.


Liaise with external agencies and partners or freelances as needed.


Assist the Public Relations & Communications Coordinator with administration of The Salvation Army website.


Protect organization’s values by keeping information confidential.
